Carpets by Martin is local family owned and operated retail flooring sales and installation business located in Shrewsbury, PA, in Southern York County. We have been serving the southern Pennsylvania and northern Maryland areas since 1972.

Serving our community for forty years is a privilege and a responsibility we don't take lightly. We support local schools, sports teams, and various organizations with donations of money, goods, and services. Carpets by Martin began in the garage of founders Sterling and Joy Martin in 1972 in Shrewsbury, PA. Our business was later moved to its current location where it has expanded three times over the years.

We are experts in flooring installation, providing professional installation with a personal touch. We hire and train our own installers and take responsibility for our work. One of our goals is to treat our customers and their homes the way we would expect to be treated. Our customers include a select group of building contractors and commercial businesses, but a majority of our customers are homeowners who are remodeling, upgrading, or redefining their living spaces. We appreciate the word-of-mouth advertising by satisfied customers.

Our product offerings include various floor coverings (including carpet, sheet vinyl, vinyl tile, ceramic tile, hardwood, laminate), home furnishings and accessories, framed art and wall decor, area rugs and braided rugs, as well as a large selection of in-stock rolls and remnants of carpet and vinyl. Although, we do provide flooring installation, we are happy to sell materials and offer advice to customers on DIY projects!
